We are a company based in the foothills of the Alps in Austria and have specialized in the manufacture of roller-dried milk powder products.

High-quality roller milk powder is produced carefully every day. We rely on a special manufacturing process

and the knowledge of experienced employees.

Our high-quality milk powder is produced by means of a roller drying process. As raw material for production, we use a wide variety of milk components such as milk concentrates, cream, butter and milk powder. With our special manufacturing process, we can adapt the powder properties individually to customer requirements. We produce roller whole milk powder (26%), roller cream powder (42%) but also special products according to customer wishes, which are particularly suitable for chocolate, confectionery and ice cream production.

There are various advantages of roller-dried milk powder that can be used in these industries.

COMPANY HISTORY

Milk has been processed at the current location since 1927.

In 1994 the process of roller drying was started under the company

Leguna Nahrungsmittel GmbH.

The aim of the company was to make use of dairy products

that were no longer needed and use them to produce animal feed.

These high-quality products were dried, and thus they were preserved and ready for transport.

In 1999, the company simultaneously started with milk drying. Due to the high quality of the dry milk, the demand grew, so that in 2003 it was decided to stop the production of animal feed and only produce roller whole milk or cream powder for the food sector for customers all over Europe.

In 2024, LEGUNA Nährmittel GmbH was renamed LEGUNA GmbH.
